KANE, Pennsylvania — October 18, 2011 — Kane Detention has just announced the release of their new Security Metal Pan Ceiling System. This ceiling system serves as the latest addition to their already existing Security Plank Ceiling System, detention screens and mesh products.

Medium Security, Maximum Performance

For years, pan ceiling systems have been an integral part of areas where an element of overhead surface security is necessary. Kane Detention’s Security Metal Pan Ceiling System affords the end user a medium level of security, as there is no easy access to into the plenum space at any point in the ceiling - with the exception of optional access doors or exit panels. The panels are held in place by engaging the splayed, upturned legs under the square bulb of an extra-heavy-duty suspension system.

Where the Security Plank Ceiling system works well in low-clearance areas including cells, showers, toilets, holding spaces and visitation rooms, Grilliot says that the Security Metal Pan Ceiling System has just as many - if not more - application uses for those areas with higher ceilings.
